Liberty University's Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy program provides you with a strong understanding of counseling principles and strategies to prepare you to seek licensure as Marriage and Family Therapists (MFTs). Liberty University's Master of Science in Nursing program equips students to provide expert clinical care and related health care services and programs to individuals, families, and people groups across the lifespan in a variety of acute care and community settings. Emphasis is placed on advanced practice in nursing, and the role of the Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS)Â is integrated throughout the curriculum. Clinical practicum experiences are based upon students' selected area of practice, and are designed to develop clinical competence and produce strong skills in leadership. Master of Arts in Religion
Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary's Master of Arts in Religion program provides students with intensive study in the scriptures and the essential truths of the Christian faith. This program is geared toward individuals seeking an introductory graduate degree in religion, providing students with a solid foundation from which to understand the fundamentals of the Bible, Christianity, Christian theology, and the Christian church. Courses are well-suited for pastors, Christian educators, informed lay leaders, and pastors? wives who wish to have a firm scriptural undergirding for service in a supportive role in their local church. Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary's Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling program prepares students to serve as staff servant-leaders involved in non-professional counseling of church members and others in a variety of ministry settings, including churches, rescue missions, and shelters. Students will develop the skills necessary to assume a facilitating role in accomplishing the goals and objectives of an education system. Students of this program may choose a specialized cognate area along with their core courses in educational leadership. This program is accredited through the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE), and is a state-approved program for school licensure (reciprocity with other states) or endorsements.
Doctor of Education

Master of Arts in Worship Studies (Blended Program)
Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary's Master of Arts in Worship Studies program is designed to equip worship leaders to better serve the church as skilled, passionate leaders of worship, equipped to fit the needs of today?s post-modern culture. This specialized program allows students to study and practice context-specific Biblical and theological competencies in worship and worship theories practical to the local church. Students will receive comprehensive training in qualitative and quantitative research methods, developing knowledge and expertise to function in a variety of worship cultures and contexts within the evangelical community. Courses are taught by today's top Christian leaders in worship music, song writing, and arranging. Instructors include Al Denson (worship leader/CCM artist/songwriter), Rick Muchow (worship pastor, Saddleback Community Church), Todd Bell (worship pastor/producer, Prestonwood Baptist Church), and Mark Harris (worship leader/song writer/band member of 4Him). On campus intensives may be required.

Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary's Doctor of Ministry program provides students with opportunities to sharpen their ministry skills. The program aims at helping men and women develop a deeper understanding of biblical principles and strategies in order to effectively serve in a variety of pastoral roles. Through courses, students are given the opportunity to interact with a variety of recognized church leaders to increase their vision and deepen understanding of the purpose and goals in ministry. The degree is well-suited for pastors, missionaries, and other church leaders seeking the opportunity for professional and personal growth. A 6 credit hour thesis is required, as well as on-campus intensives.

Liberty University's Doctor of Philosophy in Counseling program provides advanced training in the field of professional counseling or marriage and family therapy, equipping individuals for work in either private or public practice, as well as providing the necessary qualifications to teach at the university level. Because of its format I'm able to study, turn in assignments, and complete classes even when I have to travel. I was able to go on the Israel trip this past January; I was able to go see my family in Los Angeles for three weeks in February; I'll be able to go on my church's mission trip in June... I wouldn't be able to do these things if I was in traditional classes. Lord willing, I'll be going on active duty next year as a chaplain in the Navy.
